We've been back in the office and seeing clients for over a month now, and wanted to share a little of how it's been going:
We continue to follow and in some cases exceed the CDC guidelines for keeping our space clean and sanitized. Everyone is screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entry; masks are worn at all times; and all surfaces are sanitized after each and every visitor.
Zach and Sarah remain healthy, as do our clients. We have heard from many how safe and protected they feel in our space. We are working hard to keep it that way.
Our online booking system is a smashing success! With a few kinks mostly worked out by now, we've had plenty of rave reviews which include comments from the *ahem* non-Millennial-generations that it's not intimidating at all.
Still, we understand if you've been nervous to come in. There's a LOT of fear out there right now, and it's completely understandable. (That said, prolonged fear isn't good for your health, and it isn't a good place from which to make decisions about your health. Try to make sure your body gets both movement and rest every day to help regulate your emotions during this unsettling time. And the Calm app is great for short meditations and breathing exercises - free for this year if you have an Amex card, or just sign up for a trial!)
We feel strongly that if all of us continue wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing whenever and wherever possible, we'll keep the numbers down while protecting the most vulnerable among us.
We've still got options available if you need support but are averse to a visit right now! This includes Sarah's Remote Reiki and Online Reiki Circle. So many folks have derived benefit from these distanced, yet incredibly effective, treatments.
As well as seeing a full schedule of clients for acupuncture, Zach is still booking telephone consultations for herbs and other health concerns. And we've partnered with Fullscript to enable easy delivery of your herbal formulas and other supplements we can recommend specifically for you.
One of the hardest things about this time is how isolating it can be. Humans need connection and closeness, it's a deep need that's only highlighted in times of stress. Finding ways to keep communicating with and feeling the presence of those we love even in their absence is another key to getting through this time. So please, don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance - or if you just want to say hi! We miss connecting with many of you and would love the opportunity to do so.
